Each December, the Hermosa Beach community comes together to celebrate the holiday season while giving back. Our foundation’s signature annual event, the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive, brings together residents and visitors to enjoy festive celebrations at beloved local establishments—all while supporting families in need.
Participants are encouraged to dress in holiday spirit, connect with the community, and donate new toys that will be distributed to children and families during the holiday season. Through this event, we transform seasonal celebration into meaningful impact.

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community and giving back through festive events and meaningful local partnerships. What began as a small pub crawl among friends has grown into a cherished annual tradition that now supports hundreds of families each holiday season.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy, community, and compassion are deeply connected. By thoughtfully combining celebration with charitable purpose, we create opportunities for people to come together while making a tangible impact. Through our annual toy drive—conducted in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department—we help bring hope, happiness, and holiday cheer to families in need throughout our community.

Get ready to jingle all the way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue as we celebrate the season with community, cheer, and giving!

🎟️ Cost: Free to participate — just bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
👕 Dress Code: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies—festive attire encouraged!
🤝 Giving Back: All donated toys will benefit the Hermosa Beach Police Department Toy Drive
